Hi, I’m Danielle.
As a trained psychotherapist and a human being, I understand that life can be and feel messy. I specialize in helping teens and adults feel more connected to themselves and the world around them, even in the most challenging of circumstances.
I am committed to making therapy feel safe, authentic, and sometimes even a little fun. I bring to our sessions my years of experience as a clinician in school and private practice settings; and more importantly, an unequivocal belief that we are not meant to walk through our experiences alone.
My style
I believe that human connection is powerful.
I see therapy first and foremost as a relationship, one built with trust and connection at its core.
As for my “style”- I take an active role in therapy and try to bring humor and “real-ness”to sessions. We will work as a team to explore your inner and outer worlds, getting a better understanding of yourself, your experiences, and your current symptoms.
I am IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed, with training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) but I am always trying to learn and grow my practice in order to best fit the needs of my clients.
My guiding principles
Connection
Relationships are at the core of everything- especially therapy.
Compassion
Being a person is hard. I strive to meet clients with warmth and grace.
Authenticity
I bring my whole self to our sessions.
Curiosity
Being curious about ourselves, others, and life creates opportunities for learning and understanding.
